Dr. Rebecca Stack is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Augustana College, after which, she worked as a certified nurse aide at the nearby hospital, where she was first introduced to the podiatric profession. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Stack then completed a 3-year foot and ankle surgical residency in Denver, Colorado, at the HighlandsPresbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, where she trained under several of the leaders in the profession and served as chief resident during her final year.
Dr. Stack's comprehensive training included diagnosis and treatment of all disorders in the lower extremities. She enjoys treating all foot and ankle pathologies including pediatrics, trauma, athletic injuries, forefoot and rearfoot deformities, and those affected with arthritis. In addition, she specializes in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, ankle arthroscopy, and total ankle replacement surgery. Dr. Stack treats her patients like family and takes the time to get to know them. She believes every patient should be treated with respect and given a chance to be heard. This patient-focused care allows her to work with patients to achieve their specific goals and tailor treatment to each individual's needs and concerns.
Dr. Stack is an Illinois native and grew up in Naperville. She resides in Cary and considers herself privilaged to treat those in her community. She loves spending time with her husband and their 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys seeing family and friends, trying new and delicious food, and traveling.
