Dr. Jeffery Alexander, originally from Chicago, Illinois, graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He completed his professional training at Westside VA Medical Center, then expanded his skills through a Fellowship in Advanced Foot and Ankle Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery with the European Foot and Ankle Society in Germany. He is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and holds licenses to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin. He was the Residency Director of the Rush University Podiatric Residency Program for 18 years and holds the faculty rank of instructor at RUSH University Medical Center. He has also served as the Residency Site Director at NorthShore University Health System, the Director of Podiatric Medical Education at RUSH Oak Park Hospital, and as Director of the Rush Wound Care Center.
Dr. Alexander’s professional activities include serving on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association and various committees within the association. His approach to patient care is centered on interactive communication. He believes that effective patient relationships start with listening, ensuring that he addresses each patient's unique needs and circumstances. Treating patients like friends or family members, he is dedicated to providing the highest level of care and earning their trust.
Dr. Alexander is an avid golfer and competitive baseball player in his free time. He has completed multiple triathlons across the Midwest and enjoys live music and spending time with family and friends.
