Dr. Brett Becker
After graduation, she played on the ITF tennis pro circuit. She then earned a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a certificate in Healthcare Administration and Management from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She received a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2015, and was recognized as a Swanson Scholar and additionally received The Orthotics Group Award for academic excellence. Thereafter, she completed her residency at the Yale Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program, serving as chief resident during her final year. During her time at Yale, she also completed the Bako Podiatric Dermatology Mini Fellowship in Georgia.
Dr. Becker was born in Dundee, Illinois, and has been a lifelong resident of the Fox River Valley.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Augustana College in 1982.
Dr. Becker completed his medical education and surgical residency training in Chicago in 1988. He then established a private medical practice and has maintained that practice for over 30 years.
During his career, Dr. Becker served as a surgical anatomy instructor, director of a hospital based wound care program, as well as internship and residency training programs. His special professional interests include wound care with limb preservation and podiatric sports medicine.
Dr. Becker has been active in multiple levels of athletics, both as a participant and coach for several decades. He also enjoys woodworking and wood carving.
